SAFE AND BRAVE SPACES

The Inclusion Coalition’s mission is to raise awareness about different perspectives, create safe and brave spaces to elevate issues surrounding racial justice, mental health, body positivity, LBGTQIA+, feminism, disabilities from an intersectional lens, and create a systemic change and promote inclusivity in our community and the performing arts industry.

The Inclusion Coalition is a  mentor‐led and youth‐ driven project that works in collaboration with local social change organizations, to create systemic transformations through commitment, community, and dance.  

The Coalition’s annual project is the MOVEment in Focus Short Film  Project.  Each year the coalition picks a topic, partners with local agencies to educate themselves on this topic, and creates a dance driven short film to advocate, educate, and empower our audiences.   Past topics include: LBGTQIA+, Racial Justice, Disability Justice, and Radical Self Love/Body Positivity.
